Developer Boralex, in partnership with Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corporation (SNGRDC), has secured CA$538 million (US$372.82 million) in financing for the 300MW/1,200MWh Hagersville Battery Energy Storage Park in Haldimand County, Ontario. Set to be operational by Q4 2025, it will become Canada’s largest battery energy storage system (BESS) project.
